All'inizio della guerra 1914-1918, il seminario di Larressore divenne l'ospedale militare ausiliario n° 216 e vi furono curati i soldati feriti sul fronte della Grande Guerra. 254 di loro morirono a Larressore e 131 furono sepolti in un terreno concesso dal comune. È stato creato un lotto militare con 61 tombe per coloro che sono morti tra il 10 ottobre 1914 e il 10 ottobre 1919. Ci sono soldati di varie nazionalità. L'accesso al cimitero avviene attraverso un piccolo cancello sempre aperto.
