Auf 13 Tafeln wird die Ausbreitung der Eisenmühlen ab dem 15. Jahrhundert im Tal der Masse dargestellt. Jahrhundert. Diese Erweiterung war der Ursprung des Reichtums dieser Region, dessen Überreste in den schönen Häusern von Lherm und am Altarbild seiner Kirche zu sehen sind.
Neben dem Museum befindet sich die Kunstgalerie von Lherm, in der bis zum 18. September 2022 Ausstellungen verschiedener Künstler (Malerei, Skulpturen, Fotografien...) stattfinden.
