Das Museum vertieft den Besuch der Höhle Pech Merle und zeigt das Leben der Menschen im Quercy während der Vorgeschichte. Zwei Dauerausstellungen und ein 25-minütiger Film über die prähistorischen Malereien in der Höhle. Pädagogische Workshops für Schulklassen: Entdecken Sie durch Experimentieren und Berühren die Kunst der Ursprünge, die ältesten Schriftspuren und die Entwicklung des Menschen.
Im Juli und August sowie während aller Schulferien ist die Besucherzahl zum Schutz der Höhle begrenzt, daher müssen Sie mehrere Tage vorher reservieren.
