"Die Friedliche"
Der Strand Notre-Dame ist der nördlichste Strand des Badeortes Capbreton, an der Grenze zu Hossegor, im Viertel Notre-Dame. Er ist der einzige Strand in Capbreton, der sich nördlich des Passes von Boucarot befindet. Da er sehr weitläufig ist, konzentrieren sich hier häufig Wassersportveranstaltungen.
Bei Ebbe ist er die grüne Surfpiste schlechthin. Alle Surfschulen von Hossegor und Capbreton sind hier zu finden und führen Anfänger ein. Der Familienstrand bietet einen schönen Sandstrand und verdankt seinen Namen der Jungfrau, die die Seeleute von Capbreton beschützt. Im Sommer wird er überwacht. Auf der Terrasse des Toile Rouge ist ein Tapetenwechsel garantiert.
Annehmlichkeiten: WC, Duschen, Strandclub, Surfschule, Imbiss und Teestube.
Im Juli und August wird der Strand überwacht und das Badewasser täglich kontrolliert.
