"Het rustige
Het strand Notre-Dame is het meest noordelijke strand van de badplaats Capbreton, op de grens met Hossegor, in de wijk Notre-Dame. Het is het enige strand van Capbreton dat ten noorden van het kanaal Boucarot ligt. Het is vaak het middelpunt van nautische evenementen omdat het zo uitgestrekt is.
Het is een groene surfbaan bij uitstek bij eb en er zijn alle surfscholen van Hossegor en Capbreton die les geven aan beginners. Het is een familiestrand met een mooi stuk zand en dankt zijn naam aan de Maagd die de zeelieden van Capbreton beschermt. In de zomer is het bewaakt. Een andere omgeving is gegarandeerd op het terras van de Toile Rouge.
Faciliteiten: WC, douches, beach club, surfschool, verfrissingsruimte en theesalon.
In juli en augustus staat het strand onder toezicht en wordt het zwemwater dagelijks gecontroleerd.
De Porpoise Beach Club is dit jaar geopend.
