Das Museum ist im protestantischen Tempel untergebracht. Schautafeln, Schaukästen und eine Videomontage erzählen Ihnen die Geschichte der protestantischen Gemeinde von Wassy sowie die nationalen Religionskriege.
Im 16. Jahrhundert kam es zu Auseinandersetzungen zwischen Katholiken und Protestanten. Das Massaker an den Protestanten in Wassy am 1. März 1562 durch die Soldaten des Herzogs von Guise, dem Anführer der Katholiken, wird zum Auslöser der Religionskriege, die Frankreich bis zum Edikt von Nantes im Jahr 1598 spalten werden.
