Ähnlich wie Pont Aven oder Barbizon war die Auberge des S?urs Moisy einer der Urlaubsorte und Treffpunkte bekannter Maler, die Ende des 19. Jahrhunderts in die Alpes Mancelles kamen, um sich inspirieren zu lassen.
Dieser Treffpunkt der impressionistischen Maler der Jahre 1875-1925 enthüllt die Geschichte, das Kulturerbe und die Aktualität der bildenden Künste in diesem außergewöhnlichen Dorf, das zu den "hundert schönsten Frankreichs" gehört und eine Petite Cité de Caractère® ist.
Die Herberge verdankt ihre Originalität dem berühmten "Salle des Décapités" (Saal der Geköpften), der im ISMH eingetragen ist.
