Come Pont Aven o Barbizon, l'Auberge des S?urs Moisy è stato uno dei luoghi di villeggiatura e di incontro di famosi pittori che alla fine del XIX secolo si recavano nelle Alpi Mancelle per trarre ispirazione.
Questo luogo di incontro dei pittori impressionisti tra il 1875 e il 1925 rivela la storia, il patrimonio e lo stato attuale delle arti visive di questo eccezionale villaggio, uno dei "cento più belli di Francia" e Petite Cité de Caractère®.
La locanda deve la sua originalità alla famosa "Sala della decapitazione", iscritta all'ISMH.
