Der Strand von Arcachon erstreckt sich über etwa 800 m an der Uferpromenade entlang. Flankiert von den beiden Molen Thiers und Eyrac ist er der Ausgangspunkt für zahlreiche Bootsfahrten zur l’Ile aux Oiseaux (Vogelinsel) oder den Cabanes Tchanquées (Pfahlhütten). Der bereits im 19. Jahrhundert berühmte Strand liegt ideal in der Nähe der Geschäfte und Restaurants der Innenstadt. Im Sommer ist er der Lieblingsplatz von Strand-Volleyballspielern.
