Het strand van Arcachon strekt zich over ongeveer 800 meter uit langs de boulevard. Geflankeerd door de twee aanlegsteigers Thiers en Pierre Lataillade (vroeger Eyrac) is het het vertrekpunt voor vele boottochten. Het strand van Arcachon, al beroemd in de 19e eeuw, ligt in het centrum van de stad in de buurt van de winkels en restaurants van de boulevard. In het seizoen is het ook het speelterrein voor beachvolleybal. Strandclubs: Les Marsouins, Les Mouettes, Mickey.
Faciliteiten: douches en waterpunten. Dit strand heeft het Handiplage label.
