Die ursprüngliche Kirche wurde 1840 wieder aufgebaut, da sie als gefährlich galt. Der Glockenturm wurde unter Napoleon III. nach einer Spende des Vicomte de Pontac wieder aufgebaut. Aus Dankbarkeit ließ die Gemeinde sein Wappen und das seiner Frau in das Gebäude einmeißeln. Der Graf zeigte sich weiterhin großzügig bei der Restaurierung der Kirchenfenster. Über einem von ihnen befindet sich eine Zeichnung auf rotem Maultiergrund mit Sternen, die an das Wappen von Pontac erinnern. Die vier Kapitelle sind in die Mauer des Presbyteriums eingemauert, wo sie wie Modillons als Konsolen für das Gesims dienen.
