In Aubas, 3,5 km von Lascaux entfernt, überragt das Château de Sauveboeuf Louis XIII die Vézère. Das klassische Schloss im Stil von Mansart wurde 1636 von Charles Antoine de Ferrières, dem Ehrenkind von Ludwig XIII, wieder aufgebaut. Die überraschende Renaissance-Terrasse mit Blick auf die Vézère ist nicht zu übersehen.
