Modernste Kirche in Verdun.
Die zwischen 1963 und 1965 nach den Plänen des Architekten Jean-Louis Fayeton errichtete Kirche Sainte-Jeanne-d'Arc in Verdun stellt den Höhepunkt des Baus der Cité Verte dar, eines zwischen 1957 und 1962 errichteten Viertels mit Massenunterkünften. Für dieses Projekt von großer plastischer und konstruktiver Ausdruckskraft verwendete Jean-Louis Fayeton gewagte Formen, die durch den weit verbreiteten Einsatz von Stahlbeton ermöglicht wurden, der in seinem Rohzustand belassen wurde.
