Die 1931 erbaute Kirche Saint-Sauveur wurde an der Stelle des ehemaligen Krankenhauses Saint-Hippolyte errichtet, das während des Ersten Weltkriegs zerstört wurde. Dies erklärt sicherlich, warum die Statue von Saint-Hippolyte links vom Eingang steht, nicht weit von der Statue von Saint-Nicolas, dem Schutzpatron von Lothringen.
