Die heutige Präsenz der Berge wirft uns in die Zeit der geologischen Formationen zurück. Hier in Boeschèpe erinnern die drei ineinandergreifenden Kugeln an Meeresmikroorganismen. Durch Sedimentation entstand der eisenhaltige Sandstein, der die Berge von Flandern bedeckt. Das Werk des deutschen Künstlers Ludwig Schumacher, das in der Nähe aufgestellt wurde, ist aus diesem Gestein geformt. Die Land-Art-Blasen aus Weidenholz bilden ein Labyrinth, in dem man sich verstecken und Spaß haben kann. Von diesem Ort aus, der die flämische Ebene überragt, kann man die Ondankmeulen und in der Ferne den Kasseler Berg sehen.
