Das Weingut wurde 1905 gekauft und befindet sich nun in der vierten Generation. Die Weinberge von Tastet befinden sich südöstlich von Bordeaux auf einem ton- und kalkhaltigen Boden in Hang- und Plateaulage mit südlicher, südwestlicher Ausrichtung
Ein freier, nicht markierter Bereich ist den vorbeifahrenden Wohnmobilisten gewidmet.
Dort angekommen, wird Herr Gauvin denjenigen, die ihm das Vergnügen bereiten, auf seinem Weingut zu verweilen, seinen Betrieb zeigen und eine Weinprobe anbieten.
