Der "Pierre Plantée" ist ein bewegendes Zeugnis für die Anwesenheit von Menschen im späten Neolithikum. Neben seiner imposanten Form weist der Menhir Oberflächengravuren auf, die übereinander liegende lateinische Kreuze darstellen, was ein Zeichen dafür ist, dass das Monument christianisiert wurde.
