Die Kapelle von Maisonsgoutte wird 1737 vergrößert und renoviert. Wie in vielen anderen Orten im Val de Villé wurde 1830 eine Debatte über eine weitere Vergrößerung oder einen Neubau geführt. Das Gebäude war aufgrund des Bevölkerungswachstums zu klein geworden. Da sich die Kirche in einem schlechten Zustand befand, wurden zwischen 1867 und 1896 Reparaturen durchgeführt. Es dauerte bis zum Frühjahr 1912, bis mit dem Abriss begonnen wurde. Der Grundstein wurde bereits am 07. Juli 1912 gelegt und die neue Kirche wurde am 12. Oktober 1913 geweiht. Wie ihre Vorgängerin steht sie unter dem Schutz des Heiligen Antonius des Einsiedlers, der am 17. Januar gefeiert wird.
