Diese Mühle befindet sich auf einem alten gallo-römischen Gelände und wurde Anfang des 12. Jahrhunderts in der Gemeinde Beuxes erbaut. In 500 Metern Entfernung speist die Quelle von Maumont diese Mühle, die ursprünglich mit zwei Rädern mit einem Durchmesser von 2,40 Metern ausgestattet war. Die Mühle wurde 1919 stillgelegt.
Der heutige Besitzer, der die fünfte Generation repräsentiert, hat mit seiner Energie und Leidenschaft dafür gesorgt, dass die Architektur der Mühle ihren ursprünglichen Charakter zurückerhält. Das erste Wasserrad wurde gerade installiert und gibt der Mühle ihre alte Seele zurück.
