Der Gipfel des Puy de la Besse (775 m) ist ein geschützter Ort auf dem Gelände der Roches Brunagères und bietet einen weiten Rundblick. Er ist einer der höchsten Punkte des Departements Haute-Vienne. Er befindet sich in der Gemeinde Peyrat le Château und überblickt den Wald von Crozat und den See von Vassivière. Der Puy la Besse ist über mehrere Wege erreichbar, darunter der Chemin des Poètes und die Tour du Bois de Crozat. Hier können Sie den Tumulus du puy de la Besse entdecken, einen etwa 10 m hohen Grabhügel, der sich aus dem Heidekraut erhebt.
