De top van de Puy de la Besse (775 m), een beschermd gebied op de plaats van de rotsen van Brunagères, biedt een breed, cirkelvormig uitzicht en is een van de hoogste punten van de Haute-Vienne. Het ligt in de gemeente Peyrat le Château en kijkt uit over het Bois de Crozat en het Lac de Vassivière. De Puy la Besse kan worden bereikt via een aantal routes, waaronder het Dichterspad en de Crozat Wood tour. Hier kun je de puy de la Besse tumulus ontdekken, een 10 meter hoge grafheuvel die oprijst uit de heidevelden.
