Im Herzen der Petite Cité de Caractère Airvault können Besucher die Schönheit der ehemaligen Augustinerabtei bewundern, die Ende des 10. Jahrhunderts gegründet wurde. Die Gebäude stammen aus dem 12. (Bottich, befestigtes Tor), 14. (Kapelle) und 17. Jahrhundert (Abteigebäude). Sie beherbergen das Museum Jacques Guidez, das eine bedeutende Sammlung ethnografischer Objekte besitzt. Das Museum ist von Montag, dem 15. April, bis Sonntag, dem 29. September, geöffnet. Die Gärten sind das ganze Jahr über frei zugänglich. Die ländliche Welt von früher wird hier umfassend dargestellt (Handwerk, häusliches Leben, die Welt der Kinder, Spiele und Spielzeug, Landwirtschaft...).
