Die 2009 eröffnete Mediathek ist ein Bauwerk, das am Stadteingang angesiedelt und entschieden auf die Agglomeration ausgerichtet ist.
Die Mediathek ist ein großes, verglastes Gebäude und bietet auf einer Fläche von über 2500 m2 fast 80.000 Dokumente. Sie ist ein einzigartiger, hybrider Kulturort, der für alle frei zugänglich und offen ist.
Die Einsichtnahme in die Dokumente vor Ort ist frei und kostenlos.
Die Ausleihe von Dokumenten nach Hause setzt eine jährliche Anmeldung voraus.
Es wird ein vielfältiges kulturelles Programm angeboten.
Kinder unter 14 Jahren, die in der Agglomeration Grand Longwy wohnen, haben freien Eintritt.
Empfang von Gruppen nach Vereinbarung, dienstags und donnerstags vormittags.
