Ouverte en 2009, la médiathèque est une construction implantée en entrée de ville, résolument tournée vers l'agglomération.
Vaste bâtiment vitré, la médiathèque propose sur plus de 2500 m2 près de 80 000 documents. C'est un lieu culturel unique, hybride, entièrement libre d'accès et ouvert à tous.
La consultation sur place des documents est libre et gratuite.
Le prêt de documents à domicile implique une inscription annuelle.
Une programmation culturelle variée est proposée.
Gratuité pour les moins de 14 ans qui habitent sur le territoire de l'agglomération du Grand Longwy.
Accueil de groupes sur rendez-vous, le mardi matin et le jeudi matin.
