Die Statue der "Jungfrau des Feuers" ist nicht unbedeutend in dieser Kirche, die zweimal Opfer der Flammen wurde. Im Jahr 1401 wurde sie durch ein Feuer zerstört und 1421 wieder aufgebaut. Ein Jahrhundert später, 1501, wurde der Turm ein Raub der Flammen: Ein Blitz schlug in die Stadt ein und verursachte ein großes Feuer. Die gotische Kirche aus dem 15. Jahrhundert steht unter Denkmalschutz und wurde mehrfach restauriert, um sie zu erhalten.
