Der Puy d'Yssandon bietet ein bemerkenswertes Panorama über das Brive-Becken, die Monédières, die Monts d'Auvergne, die Causses und die Hochebenen des Périgord, die Sie dank der Orientierungstafel erkennen können. Das Plateau auf dem Gipfel des Hügels bietet zahlreiche Aussichtspunkte und man sieht auch die Überreste der alten feudalen Stadtmauer. Die unteren Hänge sind mit Nussbäumen bepflanzt, während die steilen Abschnitte von Flaumeichen und Kiefern besiedelt sind; am Süd- und Osthang ist der Wald weniger dominant, er lässt große Flächen für Wiesen, Wein, Pflaumen- und Nussbäume frei.
