Der architektonische Stil ist ungewöhnlich. Die Dächer sehen aus wie umgedrehte Schiffskörper
Man nennt sie: "toiture à la Philibert DELORME", nach dem Namen des Architekten, der in den Diensten von Heinrich II. und Katharina von Medici stand. Diese Dächer wurden hauptsächlich für Scheunen verwendet und ermöglichten es, mit geringem Aufwand ein großes Volumen zu erhalten.
