Die 1797 gegründete Manufaktur Royal Limoges ist die älteste noch aktive Fabrik der Stadt.
Als untrennbare Verbindung von zwei Jahrhunderten Porzellantradition ist es dem Unternehmen gelungen, eines der wenigen unabhängigen Familienunternehmen zu bleiben.
Neben der traditionellen Herstellung in der Manufaktur in Les Casseaux gibt es eine hochmoderne Fabrik in Le Dorat in der Nähe von Limoges, die es dem Unternehmen ermöglicht, Innovationen voranzutreiben, ohne dabei seine Technik und sein althergebrachtes Know-how zu vernachlässigen.
Häuser wie das Hôtels Crillon, George V und das Ritz haben sich auf das Renommee der Manufaktur verlassen, die ihre Türen für Atelierbesuche öffnet. Die Manufaktur trägt das Label "Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant" (Unternehmen des lebendigen Erbes).
