Das Priorat ist während Veranstaltungen und den Europäischen Tagen des Kulturerbes für Besucher geöffnet.

1262 gründete der Heilige Ludwig das Priorat Saint-Maurice auf dem Gelände des Königsschlosses, um die Reliquien von 24 Märtyrern der Thebäischen Legion, den Gefährten des Heiligen Mauritius, zu beherbergen. Von der Klosteranlage ist noch der Ostflügel des Priorats Saint-Maurice erhalten, der bis zum 19. Jahrhundert umgebaut wurde und dessen Schlafraum für die Mönche im Obergeschoss restauriert wurde. Bei Ihrem Besuch werden Sie die erstaunliche "umgedrehte Schiffsrumpf"-Decke aus Holz entdecken.
