Eine Legende besagt, dass Papst Julius II. in diesem Haus geschlafen haben soll, als er Verdun besuchte, um den Bischof der Stadt zu befreien, der vom französischen König gefangen gehalten wurde. Dieser starb jedoch 1513, während das Haus aus dem Jahr 1533 stammt! Eine Hypothese besagt, dass an der Stelle dieses eleganten Herrenhauses im Renaissancestil ein erstes Haus aus Holz und Lehm stand, das die Widrigkeiten der Zeit nicht überstanden hätte. Das Haus wurde 1926 unter Denkmalschutz gestellt. Als Gewinner des Loto du Patrimoine 2023 wird es derzeit restauriert....
