La leggenda narra che Papa Giulio II dormì in questa casa quando visitò Verdun per liberare il vescovo della città, prigioniero del re di Francia. Tuttavia, quest'ultimo morì nel 1513, mentre la casa risale al 1533! Si ipotizza che sul sito di questa elegante casa di città in stile rinascimentale sorgesse una casa precedente in legno e fango, ma che non sia sopravvissuta alle ingiurie del tempo. La casa è stata classificata come monumento storico nel 1926. Vincitrice del Loto du Patrimoine 2023, è attualmente in fase di restauro....
