Die Porte de Pierre ist ein seltsames und faszinierendes Naturdenkmal, ein Monolith aus rosafarbenem Sandstein, der sich mitten im Wald im Donon-Massiv befindet. Sehr viele Wanderer machen sich die Mühe, eine ganze Weile zu Fuß zu gehen, um einige Augenblicke lang in den wohltuenden Energien dieses Ortes zu baden und einen Moment der Kontemplation zu genießen.
Der Felsen besteht aus drei Säulen mit einem Sturz und bildet ein Doppeltor, das 5 m hoch und 7 m breit ist. Diese geologische Kuriosität in 858 m Höhe wurde von Regen, Wind und Frost geformt
Zwei große Menhire (heute liegend) und Steine mit Näpfchen, die man um sie herum findet, zeugen wahrscheinlich von der Anwesenheit der Kelten. War es für sie ein Eingang in das verbotene Land?
