Dieser Naturstandort besteht aus einem Trockenrasen mit aufrechtem Brombeergestrüpp. Er befindet sich auf einem Plateau, dessen Hänge von einem Buchenwald bedeckt sind. Dieser Naturstandort ist der südliche Teil einer großen Kalkraseneinheit, die sich über die gesamte Hochebene der beiden Gemeinden Nilvange und Algrange erstreckt. Die Communauté d'Agglomération du Val de Fensch ist für die Umwelt zuständig und verwaltet dieses Gebiet zusammen mit dem Conservatoire d'espaces naturels de Lorraine.
