Autun, a town classified as a place of art and history, is a Roman imperial town that takes you back into history. Situated on the banks of the river, the Autun campsite has 86 spacious and delimited pitches on a 2 hectare site. We welcome you in traditional camping pitches, stabilised pitches, or in mobile homes with all comforts.
Plunge into the heart of the Gallo-Roman era: take a leap back in time by discovering "Augustodunum", a great sound and light show that brings the Gallo-Roman city, its ancient theatre and the famous Porte d'Arroux to life.
A few kilometres away, the peace and quiet of the large lakes and the enchanting forests of the Morvan Regional Park invite you to experience a change of scenery. Enter the heart of the Morvan at Bibracte and take a leap 2000 years back in time to discover the mysteries of the Gallic civilisation! The programme includes a visit to the Museum with its reconstructions, temporary exhibitions and shop, a guided tour of the archaeological site and a Gallic meal in the unusual setting of the restaurant Le Chaudron. The youngest can even make their dream come true and become an archaeologist for a day thanks to the discovery workshops!
