Ganton ist ein Dorf und eine Gemeinde im Ryedale-Distrikt von North Yorkshire, England. Es liegt an der Südseite des Vale of Pickering, unmittelbar nördlich der Yorkshire Wolds. Ganton befindet sich 11 Kilometer westlich der Küstenstadt Filey und 14 Kilometer südwestlich von Scarborough. Historisch gesehen war es bis 1974 Teil des East Riding of Yorkshire.
Das Dorf erscheint im Domesday Book und sein Name gilt als eine Ableitung von 'Galmas Hofstelle'.
Ganton liegt am Yorkshire Wolds Way National Trail und dem Centenary Way, zwei Fernwanderwegen. Sein auffälligstes Wahrzeichen ist der Golfplatz. Der Ganton Golf Club hat 1949 die Ryder Cup-Spiele, dreimal die Amateur Championship, 1964, 1977 und 1991, sowie den Walker Cup 2003 ausgerichtet.
