Ganton es una aldea y parroquia civil en el distrito de Ryedale en North Yorkshire, Inglaterra. Se encuentra en el lado sur del Vale de Pickering, justo al norte de los Yorkshire Wolds. Ganton está a 7 millas al oeste de la ciudad costera de Filey y a 9 millas al suroeste de Scarborough. Históricamente fue parte del East Riding de Yorkshire hasta 1974.
La aldea aparece en el Domesday Book y se piensa que su nombre significa 'la granja de Galma'.
Ganton está situada en el Yorkshire Wolds Way National Trail y en el Centenary Way, senderos de larga distancia. Su punto de referencia más notable es su campo de golf. El Ganton Golf Club ha sido sede de las matches de la Ryder Cup en 1949, del Amateur Championship tres veces, en 1964, 1977 y 1991, y de la Walker Cup en 2003.
