Uley ist ein Dorf und zugleich eine Gemeinde in der englischen Grafschaft Gloucestershire. Es liegt in der Region Cotswolds zwischen Dursley und Stroud. Der Ort hat etwa 1.100 Einwohner, war zu Beginn der industriellen Revolution jedoch wesentlich größer.
Die Römer errichteten bei West Hill in der Nähe von Uley einen Tempel an der Stelle eines prähistorischen Heiligtums. 1976 wurden beim Verlegen einer Wasserleitung zahlreiche Funde gemacht, darunter etliche römische Schrifttafeln. Einige der Funde sind heute im British Museum zu sehen. In der Umgebung gab es mehrere römische Landgüter .
