Thorpe-le-Soken ist ein Dorf und eine Gemeinde im Tendring-Distrikt von Essex, England, westlich von Walton-on-the-Naze, Frinton-on-Sea und nördlich von Clacton-on-Sea.
Seit etwa 1150 gibt es ein Herrenhaus in Thorpe.
Das alte Herrenhaus, Thorpe Hall, gehörte der Familie Leake und wurde in den 1820er Jahren von dem wohlhabenden Anwalt J.M. Leake neu gebaut. Später wurde es von Frederic Foaker, dem Eigentümer von Sneating Hall in Kirby-le-Soken, gepachtet. Thorpe Hall war das Zuhause von Viscount Byng of Vimy und seiner Frau Evelyn Byng, Viscountess Byng of Vimy, die die Gärten neu gestalteten.
