Das Murrayfield Stadium ist ein Rugby-Union- und Fußballstadion in der schottischen Hauptstadt Edinburgh. Die Sportstätte bietet den Besuchern aktuell 67.130 Plätze. Im Mai 2014 schlossen die Scottish Rugby Union und das britische Telekommunikationsunternehmen BT Group einen Vertrag über die Namensrechte. Der Kontrakt ist auf vier Jahre ausgelegt und soll dem Rugbyverband 20 Millionen £ einbringen.
1922 erwarb die Scottish Rugby Union das spätere Stadiongrundstück für 3.800 £. Das Stadion wurde am 21. März 1925 mit der Rugby-Union-Spiel zwischen Schottland und England eingeweiht. Es wurde als Spielstätte für die Rugby-Union-Nationalmannschaft im Rahmen des jährlich stattfindenden Turniers Five Nations erbaut. Im Jahr der Eröffnung gelang der erste Gewinn beim Five Nations 1925. Schon zwei Jahre nach der Einweihung kaufte der Rugbyverband SRU 1927 Land um das Stadion, um das Gelände mit zwei Tribünen, Trainingsplätzen, Parkplätzen und zwei Brücken zu erweitern.
