Bei den Olympischen Sommerspielen 2012 in der britischen Hauptstadt London wurden vom 28. Juli bis 9. August im Greenwich Park sechs Wettbewerbe im Reitsport ausgetragen, jeweils eine Einzel- und eine Mannschaftsentscheidung in der Dressur, dem Springreiten und in der Vielseitigkeit.
Frauen und Männer haben sich traditionell gemeinsam gemessen. Das Wettkampfprogramm im Spring- und Vielseitigkeitsreiten war identisch im Vergleich zu dem der Olympischen Sommerspiele 2008 in Peking/Hongkong, in der Dressur wurde der Ablauf hingegen geändert.
