Der Kékes [ˈkeːkɛʃ], auch als Kékestető bezeichnet, ist mit 1014 m der höchste Berg Ungarns. Er liegt im Mátra-Gebirge im Norden des Landes.
Der Kékes ist eines der beliebtesten Touristenziele Ungarns. Er ist heute touristisch gut mit Skipisten und Hotels erschlossen. Außerdem verkehrt die Mátrabahn zwischen Gyöngyös und Mátrafüred sowie zwischen Gyöngyös und Szalajkaház. Auch als Weinanbaugebiet ist der Kékes bekannt. Vom Luftkurort Mátraháza ist die Spitze des Kékes auf einem Wanderweg gut zu erreichen. Dort befinden sich ein Bergsanatorium und ein begehbarer Fernsehturm, der am Erdboden abgespannt ist. Das Unternehmen VOLÁNBUSZ Zrt. bietet eine direkte Busverbindung von Budapest zum Sanatorium an.
