Die Shannon-Freihandelszone ist ein 2,43 Quadratkilometer großer, internationaler Geschäftspark, der an den Flughafen Shannon im County Clare, Irland, angrenzt. Sie liegt 18 km von Ennis und 20 km von Limerick entfernt. Sie wurde 1959 als die weltweit erste „moderne“ Freihandelszone gegründet. Unternehmen, die an diesem Standort ansässig waren, genossen bis 2003 spezielle Steueranreize auf Personal und Gewinne, was eine große Anzahl multinationaler Unternehmen in die Region zog.
