Caher West Top auf 973,4 Metern ist der fünfthöchste Gipfel in Irland gemäß der irischen Vandeleur-Lynam-Klassifikation und Teil der MacGillycuddy's Reeks. Caher West Top ist der einzige Furth, der eine Prominenz von weniger als 30 Metern hat.
Der Berg befindet sich etwa 500 Meter westlich des Caher East Top und ist Teil der MacGillycuddy's Reeks im County Kerry. Caher West Top wird oft im Rahmen des Coomloughra Horseshoe bestiegen, der 6-8 Stunden dauert und als „einer der klassischen Höhenwanderungen Irlands“ beschrieben wird. Der Gebirgszug umfasst auch andere benachbarte Gipfel wie Carrauntoohil, Beenkeragh, The Bones, Skregmore und Cnoc Iochtair.
