Cath Áth an Chip, was bedeutet die Schlacht von Ath an Chip, alias die "Schlacht von Connacht", war eine Schlacht, die 1270 zwischen den Armeen der Königreiche Connacht und England im County Leitrim in Irland ausgetragen wurde. Das Ergebnis war ein entscheidender irischer Sieg. "Athanchip", damals eine Furt, die durch einen Baumstumpf markiert war, ist heute der Ort, der "Schlachtenbrücke" genannt wird. Der Schlachtort ist wahrscheinlich die Stadt Drumhierney und das Dorf Leitrim.
