Cath Áth an Chip, che significa la Battaglia di Ath an Chip, alias la "Battaglia di Connacht", è stata una battaglia combattuta nel 1270 tra eserciti dei Regni di Connacht e Inghilterra nella Contea di Leitrim in Irlanda. Il risultato fu una vittoria irlandese decisiva. "Athanchip", allora un guado segnato da un ceppo d'albero, è oggi il luogo chiamato "Battle Bridge". Il sito della battaglia è probabilmente la townland di Drumhierney e il villaggio di Leitrim.
