Cath Áth an Chip, que significa la Batalla de Ath an Chip, alias la "Batalla de Connacht", fue una batalla luchada en 1270 entre los ejércitos de los Reinos de Connacht e Inglaterra en el Condado de Leitrim en Irlanda. El resultado fue una victoria irlandesa decisiva. "Athanchip", entonces un vado marcado por un tocón de árbol, es hoy el lugar llamado "Battle Bridge". El sitio de la batalla es probablemente la tierra de Drumhierney y el pueblo de Leitrim.
