Die Grande Strada ist die Passstraße der Dolomiten, des Gebirges mit seinen vertikalen Gipfeln aus manchmal fast weißem Dolomitgestein. Die Route führt durch drei italienische Provinzen (Südtirol, Trentino und Belluno) und es werden drei Sprachen gesprochen (Italienisch, Deutsch und Ladinisch). Auf wenigen Passrouten ist es angenehmer zu fahren als hier, zwischen Bozen und Toblach.
