The Grande Strada is the pass route of the Dolomites, the mountain range with its vertical peaks of sometimes almost white dolomite rock. The route crosses three Italian provinces (Südtirol, Trentino and Belluno) and speaks three languages (Italian, German and Ladin). On some passing routes it is more pleasant to take a tour than here, between Bolzano and Dobbiaco.
