Balzers ist eine Gemeinde im Oberland des Fürstentums Liechtenstein. Balzers verfügt über zwei Exklaven und ist somit eine dreigeteilte Gemeinde. Sie ist die westlichste Gemeinde des Fürstentums und mit rund 4500 Bewohnern einwohnermässig die viertgrösste Gemeinde des Landes.
Die Einwohnerbezeichnung lautet Balzner. Grund ist der rätoromanische Ursprung des Ortsnamens. Weil dieser mit der lateinischen Nominativendung -s endet, wird der Genitiv ohne -s gebildet.
