Windhof ist ein Abschnitt der luxemburgischen Gemeinde Koerich im Kanton Capellen. Die Geschichte von Windhof reicht bis in die römische Zeit zurück, aufgrund seiner Lage an der Kiem oder römischen Straße von Trier nach Reims. Vor einigen Jahren wurde eine römische Etappe auf dem Kiem zwischen Capellen und Windhof gefunden. Die Straße wurde wahrscheinlich im 1. Jahrhundert v. Chr. erbaut, erlangte jedoch im 3. und 4. Jahrhundert besondere Bedeutung, als sich Trier zu einer kaiserlichen Residenz entwickelte.
